This site collects one thing: what you type into the walkthrough form, so that somebody here can call you back about it. No analytics, no advertising, no cookies, no trackers. Everything below is the detail behind those two sentences.
What this page covers — and what it does not.
This page is about the public DivyaJivan website you are reading, and nothing else. It describes a website that has one form on it.
Patient records, clinical data and everything inside the DivyaJivan software are a separate matter entirely. They are governed by the written agreement between DivyaJivan and each hospital that uses the platform, and by the consent a patient gives inside the product itself. Nothing on this page is a description of how patient health information is handled.
So if you are a patient asking about your own records, this is the wrong page: the hospital treating you holds them and is the place to start, and we will help your hospital answer you.

These are our own plain-language terms for this website, written by the people who built it. They have not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. We would rather publish something honest and readable now, and tell you that it is unreviewed, than leave the page blank or paste in somebody else’s policy. A reviewed version will replace this one, and the date will change when it does.

What this site collects.
The walkthrough form on the contact page, and nothing else. What you type there is sent to our own server and stored, so a person here can read it and reply to you. There is nowhere else on this site to enter anything.
Four of the boxes are required, because without them we cannot reply properly. The rest you are welcome to leave blank.
What it does not collect.
No cookies. This site sets none — not for analytics, not for preferences, not for advertising. Nothing is written into your browser and nothing is read back out of it.
No analytics and no trackers. There is no measurement script on any page here, no advertising pixel, no social embed, no chat widget, no third-party video or map. Even the typefaces are served from this site rather than from a font company, so opening a page here does not announce your visit to anybody else.
The live counter on the front page asks our own API for three numbers — how many hospitals, doctors and patients are on the platform. It sends nothing about you and gets nothing about anybody: three totals and the time they were counted.
We do not ask for health information anywhere on this site, and there is nowhere here it could go. Please do not type medical details into the message box.
Why we hold it.
Because you asked us to get in touch. That is the whole of it: you filled in a form whose only purpose is a reply, so we keep what you wrote for as long as it takes to reply properly and to carry on the conversation you started.
It is not used for anything else. Filling in the form does not sign you up to anything, and there is no marketing list here for it to go into.
Who can see it.
The DivyaJivan team, and nobody else. An enquiry is stored in our own database, which runs on servers in India, and is read by the few people here who administer the platform and answer enquiries.
Our operational log records that an enquiry arrived — its reference, and the hospital and city you gave — so that somebody notices it and goes and reads it. Your message, your phone number and your email address are deliberately kept out of that log.
It is held apart from the clinical side of the platform on purpose. An enquiry is never attached to a patient record, and asking for a walkthrough does not create one.
It is not sold, and not shared.
What you send is not sold, rented, swapped or handed to advertisers, data brokers or anyone else. There is no advertising on this site and no arrangement under which anybody outside DivyaJivan gets to see your enquiry.
The one exception any honest policy has to state: if we were required to produce something by law or by a court, we would have to comply.
How long we keep it.
While we are in touch with you, and for as long afterwards as we might reasonably need to remember the conversation.
We are not going to quote you a period we have not set. There is no automatic deletion in place today; fixing a definite one is on our list, and when it is set it will be written here and this page re-dated. Until then, if you would like your enquiry gone, ask and it goes.
Asking for a copy, a correction, or deletion.
Write to the address at the foot of this page and say which of the three you want. Give us the name and the hospital you put on the form, so we can find the right enquiry, and we will send you back exactly what we hold, correct it, or delete it.
Deletion here means deletion: the record is removed, not flagged as hidden while the name and number stay on disk.
We aim to come back to you within a few working days.
How it is looked after.
Everything you send from this site travels over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). The enquiry is stored in a database that is not reachable from the public internet, and getting at it requires administrator access to our own systems.
The form is rate-limited as well: the server counts recent submissions from the connection they arrive on, so that nobody can flood it. Those counters expire by themselves within the hour and are never attached to your enquiry.
And we are not going to dress any of that up. We hold no certification of any kind and we claim none — not here, not anywhere else on this site. What is written above is what is actually done.
Changes to this page.
If any of this changes, the words here change and the date at the top changes with them. There is no notification list, because we do not keep one.
One address, and a person reads it.
For a copy of your enquiry, a correction, a deletion, or any question about this page, write to us. Tell us the name and the hospital you gave on the form so we can find it.
